Manufacturing Update - May

Hey y'all! Sorry it's been a bit quiet, we're in that little lull where everything's just being worked on and I don't have much to share! But rest assured I am still very much here and things are still on their way, so let's see what I do have to update you on...
TheKeychains are in production right now. There was a bit of back and forth with the Proofing, but they have been finalized and are now 100% in production, so it's just a matter of that finishing up and they should be on their way to me!
Final Proofing of the Keychain
They had to be edited just a smidgen for the material, but they will be on rainbow holo acrylic so the final effect will still be dazzling.
Next up, TheEnamel pins... well, they're on hold. Due to a recent surge in COVID19 cases, many businesses and factories have had to shut down and are currently on a rotating schedule for returning to work. My manufacturers are unable to be in the factory at this time, so there is going to be a slight delay on the pins. Which is totally fine! This is something we expected going into the project, as COVID has affected a lot of things, especially in the manufacturing and shipping industries.Â

Obviously this is no fault of the manufacturer! And as soon as I have an update on production I'll let you know. Hopefully they'll be back in action and ready before the bags are finished.
Which of course leads us to TheBags!
...I have no information on them! :) That was supposed to be funny, sorry, haha. Since theres so much that goes into the bags specifically, there's not really a lot to update me on until they're fully done. After I made final choices for all of the colors the bags when into production and that's where they're still at now.Â
So, yeah! That's where everything is at the moment. The second I have more news for everyone I'll let you know, but as always feel free to message me here or anywhere else if you have any questions. The preorders are still up on Backerkit so any last minute stragglers can get a back before the price jump this fall.Â

Things are Purchased!

Hey there again everyone! I have great news! The news in the title that all of the merch for rewards has been purchased!
Thanks to a nifty feature Backerkit has that allows to it estimate the final counts of bags + the fact that I over ordered to make sure there would be leftovers to sell in my shop, I was able to calculate out how much I needed to order, and got it all in! In fact, I already have the stickers in my possession, that's how fast that one processed. Look!

The charms are going through proof reviews, the enamel pins have started production, and my bank account took a massive hit upon ordering the Actual bags themselves. I predict the bags will take the longest time to produce, but everything is on track at the moment!Â
If you happened to only order non bag items, then it is very likely you will get your order sent out earlier than others, but this of course depends on how fast the pins and charms get produced.Â
Aside from that, please do try to get your surveys in still! We're only missing ~30 now, and if you don't have yours in by the 30th it's not the end of the world, because of course we'll still have your rewards, but it does make things run smoother.Â
And again, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me! I may not respond right away because it's obviously been a hectic month, but I'll be sure to get back to you and help any way I can.Â
Bakerkit Update! Surveys at 80%, Deadline, Etc

Hey there everyone! Wanted to shoot out a quick update to let y'all know where we are with the surveys and to touch on a couple of things I wanted to mention!
First of all, we are currently at 80% with complete surveys, so thank you SO much to everyone who's already filled it out! There's only about 60 of you who still need to send those in so hopefully this serves as a reminder, but also no rush!
You may or may not have noticed a Backerkit "due date" for surveys being due today, but please disregard that. It was from my original estimates and i had forgotten to update it before sending out. The new due date will be the 30th! If you don't get your survey in by then I'll understand, but I'll also start sending reminder emails out as that date gets closer.
Once surveys close, I will lock them in, so orders won't be able to be adjusted after that. If you have paid through Backerkit with anything aside from paypal, your card won't charge until I lock surveys in, so please be aware of that around the 30th!
Other things to note- Anyone who added the add on "Another Knife Ita Bag" will have no way to choose the colors of their inserts through the survey, so If I do not hear from you I will be messaging to get those manually. If I don't hear anything after that I'll pack a prechosen set!
If you have any problems with Backerkit please do not hesitate to message me here. A few people already have and I am more than happy to assist with any problems that come up! I know Backerkit can be a bit confusing, and honestly it's more than likely something's popped up that I've missed.Â

Backerkit Surveys Going out!

Hey y'all! It is finally time for the surveys to hit your inboxes, for 100% real this time!
I have just finished the approval process with Backerkit, and the surveys are all set to go! They will start trickling out with a test to get surveys out to 5% of backers, followed by the rest as soon as those are confirmed sent and no bugs have been found.
This means, please keep an eye on your inbox for the next few days! The sooner these surveys are filled out the sooner I can get the order of the bags in, which is the most important part!Â
I have already ordered the stickers, enamel pins, and charms, so now it's just a matter of production on those, which is very exciting.
Also please note that if you'd like to add any other rewards to your order you may do so in the survey! And Backerkit is hosting a preorder shop for all of the reward items, so until the surveys are complete people will have a bit more time to get in any orders on the bags. Tell your friends who missed out!

Survey Delay! + Backerkit Shop

Hello everyone! Sorry for the delay with typing this up, I had meant to have it out yesterday but work came up and the time got away from me.
A couple of you have started to ask, where are surveys?! I said they'd be out no later than monday, and here we are on WEDNESDAY and still nothing. Crazy.
Well, in the midst of getting the surveys set up and ready to go, I realized they'll take a bit more work than I had originally thought. I am using Backerkit for my fulfillment surveys, which allows me to have a bit more customization and organization with the fulfillment side of things, but it means a lot more work on my end for setting things up.Â
Backerkit does also recommend waiting two weeks before sending surveys out, so that Kickstarter has enough time to properly attempt all of it's necessary charges and anyone who's changed their mind doesn't get the survey.Â
Plus there is a fee to use backer kit, and honestly I'd rather bite that off once kickstarter has actually sent me the money, so that I can more properly allocate my fees.
All this to say, TL;DR The surveys will be out in a bout two weeks! I am so sorry for the delay, but I thank you all so much for your patience. I'll be sure to post another update when they go out so that no one misses them.
Also a fun part of backerkit- they allow me to host a mini store for items from the kickstarter, so anyone who didn't get one during the campaign will still be able to snag one as a part of preorders! I didn't realize this before, but even a few extra orders through the backerkit store will help out with leftover numbers, so be sure to let your friends know!
